Many feared trapped as a 25- Storey building collapsed at Musliu junction Ikoyi this afternoon. It was said that this incident happened few minutes past two this afternoon.
This incident was confirmed by the spoke person of Lagos State emergency service, Nosa Okunbo.
Also the Director general of LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke also confirm that heavy equipment and life detecting equivalent has been provided to the site.
It is also said that the owner of the building is also trapped inside.
UPDATED: Many feared dead and several injured.
Three people have been rescued out of the collapsed building and rushed to an unidentified hospital for treatment.
Four dead bodies has been confirmed and recovered from the rubbles by volunteers and workers of the LASEMA.
The deputy governor of Lagos State Babafemi Hamzat has reached the scene of the incident.
Cause of the incident has not been ascertained as it is left to the construction expert to ascertain.
