Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi cubanna was born in Idemili South Anambra state on the 12th of April 1975.
He attended a secondary school at Onitsha and there after proceeded to University of Nigeria Nsukka and bagged a degree in political science in 1998.
The political science graduate made his first million during his NYSC days in his place of assignment at the National assembly. He was introduced to real estate business where he met his client who wanted to furnish a house. He made gain of N600,000 and was dashed extra N500,000.
His journey to the business world began in 2006 when he first establish his first night club Ibiza in Abuja and later Cubanna in owerri.
The socialite defeated the likes of Gov. Seyi makinde, Tony Enemelu to win the man of the year award in October. The billionaire was voted by Nigerians. The socialite margined Gov. Makinde with almost 1.5million votes.
Obi Cubanna got married to his wife Ebele Iyiegbu in 2008 and the couples are blessed with four male children.
In several interviews the socialite hinted that he’s a religious person as he tags himself God’s favorite son.
