The Federal government has increased the price of both the single phase and three phase prepaid meter.
In a statement released in a circular issued by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and addressed to managing directors, all electricity distribution companies and all meter asset providers. 11th November, it was stated that the new price will take effect as from 15th of November.
The circular, with reference number NERC/REG/MAP/GEN/751/2, was entitled ‘‘Review of the unit price of end-use meters under the Meter Asset Provider and National Mass Metering Regulations’’.
The single was increased from initial price of N44,896.17 to N58,661.69 while the three phase was increased from the initial price of N82,885.19 to N109,684.36.
