The Economic Financial Crime Commission has placed a Northern State governor on watchlist over alleged withdrawal of N60bn from Government purse since he came into power in 2015.
Although the governor’s name was not mentioned as he still enjoys immunity till his tenure elapse May 29th 2023, EFCC said Nigerians will be able to get details of his impunities once his tenure elapses.
This was made known in the commission magazine titled “EFCC ALERT” by the chairman of the commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
Bawa explained that the exposure on the looting of the huge cash was made possible through the newly established Intelligence Department of the commission.
